On May 12th, 2018, the public library of Toblach in the Puster Valley (South Tyrol) will host a German-Italian editathon. As supporting programme there will be excursions and meet-ups with the local community.

General information

The Library is closed on Saturday, which means that Wikipedians can enjoy it that day without disturbance. Most importantly, they are free to make use of the books and the internet connection for contributing to the Wikimedia projects.

For a meal with cultural background Wikipedians can make a visit to the Gustav Mahler Stube, where there is also the possibility to see the zoo.

Another possibility is a visit to the Nature Park Visitor Center.

How to arrive

Toblach is easily reachable by train. From Munich, Innsbruck, Bozen, Meran or Trento there are direct regional as well as Eurocity trains to Franzensfeste/Fortezza. The regional train entering the Puster Valley (with final destination Innichen, Sillian or Lienz) leaves from Franzensfeste every 30 minutes and will take about 75 minutes. From the Toblach train station the centre can be easily reached by foot or by bus.
