This page is for requesting CheckUser information on a wiki with no local CheckUsers (see also requesting checkuser access). Make sure to follow the following instructions, or your request may not be processed in a timely manner.

Before making a request:

Make sure you have a good reason for the check. It will only be accepted to counter vandalism or disruption to Wikimedia wikis. Valid reasons include needing a block of the underlying IP or IP range, disruptive sockpuppetry, vote-stacking, and similar disruption where the technical evidence from running a check would prevent or reduce further disruption.
Be specific in your reasons. Ambiguous or insufficient reasons will cause delays. Explain the disruption and why you believe the accounts are related, ideally using diff links or other evidence.
Make sure there are no local checkusers.

Reason(s): Μαυρο Μαργαριταρι exhibits the same editing pattern of blind reverts and silly vandalism as Μαδαρός in the elwiki article on the battle of Crete (el:Μάχη της Κρήτης -- please check the article's history page).

The former is an account that was activated and started editing the article only a short while after the latter was blocked indefinitely as a sockpuppet. There may well be a number of sleepers, as the sockmaster (Vrahomarinaner, whose account has also been indefinitely blocked) tends to edit WP using a large number of accounts (as previously confirmed after CU requests here) or as an IP. Comment Per en:WP:NOTFISHING, ""Fishing" is to check an account where there is no credible evidence to suspect sockpuppetry." This is not the case here, as all the above are accounts with interests and behaviour identical to that of Vrahomarinaner and his way too many socks. More behaviour patterns have been identified in a very similar fashion by the newcomer named Ορενόκος, who is vandalising and spamming the exact same pages on Greek Wikipedia just like the above mentioned users under investigation. Discussion: Albanian wiki WP:SOCK policy

Reason(s): User Cinephile-al, Arkivisti, Snsol, and other IPs all push the same POV at the article Misto Treska in sqwiki. Cinephile-al is the master (edited earlier) and often edits under an IP. Arkivisti (the sock, as it started editing later) was blocked for disruption. When blocked, he returned to his older account, Cinephile-al. In addition all of these folks keep deleting sourced material, threatening all editors involved. Engagement in the talk page is minimal, and while no source is disputed, the same person wants the article deleted. Instead of following the proper deletion procedures the same person is involved merely in deleting article and relative talk page. Good to see that after my last comment here you reflected about some of your mistakes and double standards and decided to finally report user:Cinephile-al properly. The report comes a little late as you already blocked some users above under the pretext of being "socks" of Cinephile-al (1, and that with NO confirmation, and on top of that you also asked the community on Albanian Wikipedia to vote on permanently blocking @Cinephile-al:. One of the reasons you gave there is that after being banned he socked with new accounts and IPs, vandalizing and insulting. Again you had no confirmation for your claims, yet you asked the community to block him permanently. This happened after he criticized you here for your abuses. A trolling request modeled after the case "Νικόλας Παπαποστόλου@el.wikipedia" by user "I will apologise" / "Νικόλας Παπαποστόλου" (= user "Ελλ" = user "Digital Greece"; see "Ελλ@el.wikipedia"). User "Φαλτσέτα" (obviously a sock) claims to be user "Νικόλας Παπαποστόλου" [1] [2], but its is not clear whether he is actually "Νικόλας Παπαποστόλου", or is user "Tακλαμακαν" (an idle, stale account). "Tακλαμακαν" is a sockmaster and troll active in the Greek-language WP thru its socks and an army of IPs (see my remarks in the above link to "Ελλ@el.wikipedia", [3]). Reason(s): Michael Chabot is confirmed by Commons checkuser Elcobbola to be part of a gaggle of sockpuppets perpetrating a hoax centred around the imaginary "Lauwiner Empire" across multiple projects (Commons, Wikidata, English Wikipedia and German Wikipedia). The Wikidata entries involved are Q54806194 and Q54936010. Edward Harrison 72 could not be confirmed to be a sockpuppet by Commons checkusers because it was only used on Wikidata, but both Michael Chabot and Edward Harrison 72 have been used at Wikidata, so a check there should be possible. Making the request here as Wikidata lacks local checkusers according to d:Wikidata:CheckUser#Access. User creates new accounts, 3 or 4 a day on and off for a few years now. For some of these new account nothing happens. Good number of them makes one sometimes two edits, occasionally useful but usually pointless or minor. Sometimes creates page just to create work for other contributors to clean up.
