Thuja orientalis

Chinese medicine
A conifer, the seeds of which are anti-inflammatory, astringent, emollient, expectorant, haemostatic, nutritive, sedative and tonic. Thuja orientalis is used topically for burns, and internally for cardiac arrhythmias, bleeding disorders, constipation, diaphoresis, fatigue, infertility, insomnia, malnutrition and uterine bleeding.
