Ludiomil), mirtazapine (Remeron), nefazodone (Serzone), nortriptyline (Pamelor), paroxetine (Paxil), phenelzine (Nardill), protriptyline (Vivactil), selegiline (Emsam), sertraline (Zoloft), tranylcypromine (Parnate), trazodone (Desyrel), trimipramine (Surmontil), venlafaxine (Effexor), and vilazodone (Viibryd).
These drugs include bupropion (Wellbutrin, Wellbutrin SR, Zyban), trazodone (Desyrel), maprotiline (
Ludiomil) and mirtazapine (Remeron).
Heterocyclics include bupropion (Wellbutrin, Wellbutrin SR, Zyban), venlafaxine (Effexor), trazodone (Desyrel, Trazon, Trialodine), mirtazapine (N10A, Remeron), and maprotiline (
Ludiomil).
John's Wort with other antidepressants such as
Ludiomil (a tricyclic derivative), Tofranil, or Elavil (tricyclic antidepressants).
nortriptyline (Pamelor), amitriptyline-HCI (Elavil), maprotiline (
Ludiomil) Mixed reuptake inhibitors.
Klerman (1992) reports that the tricyclic antidepressants matprotiline (
Ludiomil) and amoxapine (Asendin) are most likely ineffective for panic disorder.
Pharmacists may give lamotrigine in error to patients with prescriptions for a number of other drugs, most commonly Lamisil, lamivudine,
Ludiomil, labetalol, and Lomotil, the FDA cautioned in its Safety Alert (www.fda.gov/medwatch/SAFETY/2001 /safety01.htm#lamict).
