las vegas winter market HEATS UP! #LVMKT

the next 6 months have some crazy good stuff on the agenda for moi, and i can't believe the first event (of many) i'll be participating in during the first half of 2014 is only a month away!  time is really flying... and that's why you better book your rooms for winter market in las vegas, asap!

las vegas market opens on sunday january 26th (thru 30th), but you'll want to be there on monday, january 27th at 3:00pm, when i hope you'll join me and my great friends, raucous co-conspirators, and talented interior designers, gretchen aubouchon, jason oliver nixon and michelle workman for a panel discussion on "social media and the design community: how to encourage influencers to grow your brand". if you know any of the four of us, you also you know i can guarantee this will FOR SURE be the most lively panel at market, because we are four designers with zero filters between us! it's gonna be real, honest, and funny as all get out, all while informing and educating a lil bit too!  i might personally see to it that we have cocktails on hand during our discussion, cuz i've had the pleasure of having drinks with all these fine folks, and honey, we be FUN when we're liquored up...

and of course there will be all the other things y'all attend market for: fab new product introductions, cocktails, trend spotting, cocktails, seminars, cocktails, and networking our little booties off (over cocktails), so BOOK NOW! all the cool kids are gonna be there including my market buddies jill seidner, jaime rummerfield, and ron woodson!

i also wanted to let y'all know know that my friends here in the la cienega design quarter are having a buncha open houses this thursday to celebrate the holidays! cocktails and pretty things- yay! here's the breakdown:

i will be showroom hopping throughout the LCDQ, nibbling and sipping all afternoon, but you are most likely to find me with a st. germaine cocktail in my hand from 4-6 in the woven accents showroom, that's where my good friend ginna christensen of 27ground is now creative director and she is debuting the first in a series of artist/designer collaboration windows at the showroom this thursday! i'm super excited to check out the competition from heather ashton design as i'll be doing a window in spring 2014- IN CONJUNCTION WITH MY NEW LINE OF RUGS- which will be sold in the woven accents showroom! somebody pinch me- first wallpaper, now rugs, this boy's dreams are coming true!
