Violinista
--ValterVB (talk) 20:22, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
Un piccolo aiuto
editBuongiorno LucaBiondi, tutto bene?
Rei Momo (talk) 09:33, 26 March 2013 (UTC)
- Grazie mille per l'aiuto. È vero, qualche Bot ci ha aiutato! Comunque, adesso, l'edit mi appare in tutte le voci. Che sia stato qualche Wiki-problema?
- Se non ci sentissimo più: Buona Pasqua!
Property "Emigrated in"
edit- I'm afraid I can't create properties
- I'm not sure what you meant by "Emigrated in". Did you mean "Emigrated to/Emigrato in"? I'm not sure I'm in favour of this property. I think it would be better covered by the proposed "Key event" property but that hasn't been approved yet.
Filceolaire (talk) 21:26, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
I don't think you need to improve your proposal. I think it is quite clear. I just think their might be another property which does this better. If that doesn't get approved then I will support this one. Filceolaire (talk) 21:46, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
emigrated properties
editTo be honest I didn't fully understand what 'emigrates' means, even I know the word in German ('ausgewandert'). Isn't this a situation we can also query be the two properties 'country of citizenship' and/or 'residence'? Please answer to my talk page. --Nightwish62 (talk) 21:41, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
- Another possible solution came in my mind. What's about this:
Item: Person XYZ
Property: residence Value: country A (say, this is the place the person was born and lived for the first years) qualifier: start date Value: XX.YY.ZZZZ qualifier: end date Value: XX.YY.ZZZZ
Property: residence Value: country B (say, he makes here a longer stay for several years, e.g. for education) qualifier: start date Value: XX.YY.ZZZZ qualifier: end date Value: XX.YY.ZZZZ
Property: residence Value: country A (say, he came back to the country he has born) qualifier: start date Value: XX.YY.ZZZZ qualifier: end date Value: XX.YY.ZZZZ
Property: residence Value: country B (say, this is the country he has emigrated to) qualifier: start date Value: XX.YY.ZZZZ qualifier: end date Value: XX.YY.ZZZZ qualifier: as value: emigrant
What do you think about this? --Nightwish62 (talk) 22:10, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
Hi, I'm glad you like my idea. About your questions:
- Yes, such a query would be possible for sure, otherwise the whole project make no sense. But I'm not expert in this. As far as I know, there would be multiple query language like LUA (?) and SPARQ. But I think I take some time till this is realized. But then we are able to make great queries like: Tell me all people who are born in Germany, has a wife from China and have received an award in some sport discipline. Cool stuff.
- No, the qualifier 'as' didn't exist right now. But I'm sure it is needed, also for other statements. It is a very generic qualifier which can be used for many claims. We could make the example above why such a qualifier is needed.

- Try to ask User:Byrial. He makes some very nice analyses as you can see on his user site. Or contact the development team. Someone there should know it :) --Nightwish62 (talk) 13:35, 6 August 2013 (UTC)
- Ah, I forgot: There is already a page which you can build queries: [1]. At the bottom of the site you've got some more examples. --Nightwish62 (talk) 21:44, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Babel
editOn Wikidata you can use Babel to view and edit more than one language. Just add e.g. {{#babel:de-N|en-3|es-1|fr-2|nl-3|it-4|da-0}} to your user page. --Tobias1984 (talk) 17:07, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
to be deleted.

Tool per le immagini su wikidata
editCiao.

grammatical category in lexemes
editHi! I looked at secondo (L35317) you created and I think you little missunderstood some ideas behind lexemes. You created it with lexical category set to name (Q82799). But it's not lexical category. It could be something like "noun", "verb" and any other part of speech or any subclass of them. For example as sense L35317-S1 you added a noun "unità standard di misura del tempo" but as sense L35317-S4 you used "numero ordinale" which is not noun. One lexeme should contain only senses of single lexical cattegory. If you do not understand something in lexemes feel free to ask in Wikidata talk:Lexicographical data. Property proposals
editHi Luca,
Thanks for your property proposals! However please do not mark them as |status=ready
yet - we need at least one week of discussion before properties can be created.
