1/5 Hatching of an Idea ✨ When Jakub Kostrzewski and I stumbled upon the official Flutter Hackathon announcement, we thought, "Why not try?". We wanted to create a sustainable game that not only educated and entertained but also made a positive impact on our planet. The #GlobalGamersChallenge, in partnership with Global Citizen, was the perfect opportunity to combine our passion for Flutter with our desire to contribute to a meaningful cause. The only challenge was… to come up with an idea for a game that smoothly combined our skillset, universal problems, educational content, and the joy of playing—all within a tight two-month deadline. We gathered our Appunite Flutter team for an intense brainstorming session, filling a virtual canvas with a lot of ideas. After two hours of creative chaos, a rough concept emerged: a game centered around a map of a polluted world, where players engage in mini-games ("Challenges") inspired by real-world actions to gradually improve the global environment. The initial spark of an idea is like striking a match in a dark room. It's a small flicker, but with care and attention, it can ignite a brilliant blaze of innovation. Nurturing this initial concept is essential, as it sets the direction and lays the groundwork for everything that follows. #OurFlutterGlobalGamersChallengeJourney #Flutter #Gamedev

Partnerships rock! 🤝 They have been a cornerstone of my journey, both in tech and beyond. SoDA - Software Development Association Poland is a perfect example: from 10 companies to over 200, creating 15% revenue growth for members, and DO OK. Life-changing software services is not an expectation. How can you partner in another way than through an industry organization? 1. Meetings with business friends, like my recent one with Konrad Weiske in Wrocław, are more than just networking—they’re about getting out of the box and gaining new perspectives. Thanks! 2. Partnerships can also mean working with shareholders in different industries—something I’m exploring now and learning a lot from i.e. Allies and Fusion Ecosystem, where I grow alongside my clients.
