Aurora’s understanding of the world and her place within it is rocked to the core after an event that leaves her questioning everything.  She instinctively places her trust in Echo to survive, but does he really have her best interests at heart?

Seedead is a post-apocalyptic story written and developed in two weeks for Apocalypse Jam 2023 using Twine.

The story uses a post-cataclysmic survival scenario, as well as the sub-theme of the seed vault.
It also uses the Technopocalypse sub-theme loosely as inspiration.

Wow, what an interesting story plot - and these suprising shifts, just great! Also love the quotes at the beginning. There is also one from Yoko Ono "A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality." - Taking it quite literal fits pretty well to one of the discussion Echo and Aurora had in my version of the story, I think.

I am deeply impressed by your ability to create such an interesting, well thought plot in such a short time. Great job!

Ugh that's such a great quote and honestly perfect. I wish I had known it before!
I'll add it to my quote list for the re-write!

Thank you so much! ^_^

Very interesting!

A cool take on the seed vault theme and the text and dialogue are great. I like the passages that you could switch from several alternatives, even if I'm not sure they play a great role in how the story continued.

I've worked just a little in Twine myself but you did lots of cool things with it that I didn't know was possible! :)

Ah I had so many plans that I just didn't have the time for and good intentions of having more of the choices have a bigger impact. XD

For this game they just ended up being flavour choices really, playing with alternate ways to respond so that a person can pick what ever feels better for them.

Thanks for commenting! I really appreciate it. <3

Yeah, I understand that it's limited by the time constraints but even if some of the choices don't make much mechanical difference right now they still give the reader more of an opportunity to put themselves in the protagonists shoes, which I think is nice. :)

I so love the world you have created and really enjoyed the adventure you took me on! The customization and variation was really a nice touch. I can't wait for further content to see how the world expands, to get to know all the characters more, and of course spend more time with Echo! :) Thanks for sharing this and I look forward to future updates!

Thank you so much! :) I look forward to getting to know Echo more too in future.

So many fun ideas I want to share with an updated version!
