entitled spouse

in Scots family law, one of the subject of the regime established in relation to the protection of victims of domestic violence in the matrimonial home. An entitled spouse is generally the owner or tenant or other person entitled to live in a house. One of the major innovations of this law was to allow the non-entitled spouse to obtain an EXCLUSION ORDER against the other spouse.
