Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Upper Leacock Township Zoning Hearing Board will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, in the Township's meeting room at the Upper Leacock Township Community Building, 161 Newport Road, Leola, Pennsylvania. All interested parties and/or their agents are invited to attend this meeting at which time a public hearing will be held on the following matter:
Case No. 2024-18. The application of GFY of Collier County I, LLC, will be heard for: (i) an appeal of the Township Zoning Officer's determination that a proposed spa business is not a use permitted by right within the General Commercial Zone; (ii) in the alternative, a special exception for a substitution of a nonconforming use pursuant to Section 704 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit a spa use; (iii) in the alternative, a variance from the terms of Section 212 of the Zoning Ordinance regarding uses permitted within the General Commercial Zone; and (iv) in the alternative, a special exception for a use not otherwise provided for pursuant to Section 107 of the Zoning Ordinance. The property is located at 232 West Main Street, Leola, Pennsylvania, in the General Commercial Zone.
