Borax

Borax (-acis, m.)^[1] (a nomine Arabico بورق bawraq, a Persico بوره būrah)^[2] est nomen commune eius salis qui apud chemicos natrii tetraboras decahydricus (Na₂B₄O₇·10H₂O) appellatur. Chrysocolla dicebatur apud antiquos. Ipse nomen dedit elemento borio, cuius ionta continet.
