Fictio fautorum[1] aut Litterae fautorum (vulgo fanfic vel fan fiction) est genus pseudo-litterarium praecipuum saeculis XX et XXI, in quo fautores cuidam fabulas proprias scribent de rebus narratis in historiis ab aliis creatis. His in historiis, scriptores fanatici personis et locis narrationum originalium utuntur sed in historiis novis, quae non publicatae sunt ab auctoribus originalibus.

Hae litterae fautorum interrete florent, sed rariter libris publicantur. Etiamsi scriptores originales saepe veniam dant fautoribus ad fictiones derivatas creandas, auctores fautores huius generis fictionis in periculum incurrant, quia carent ius et potestatem supra historias et personas versionum originalium.
