Today, we are thrilled to share some incredible news about the national wheelchair tennis team, which will represent Kazakhstan on the international stage.   From August 13th to 17th, the Kazakhstan Wheelchair Tennis Championship took place in Aktobe, marking its third annual event. This year, over 40 athletes competed with heightened intensity to secure their spots on the national team, reflecting the growing competition and increasing level of professionalism within the sport. Dear readers, On 17 July 2024 amendments to the Kazakhstan Law «On Migration of Population» have come into force. The amendments introduce mechanism for monitoring a violation of migration legislation in the form of unscheduled inspections. Unscheduled inspections will be made by the territorial internal affairs bodies (migration authorities). Unscheduled inspections may be carried out in relation to individuals and legal entities which host foreigners and stateless persons and (or) employ foreign labour. Согласно изменениям, был введен механизм контроля за нарушением миграционного законодательства в виде внеплановых проверок.   Внеплановые проверки будут проводиться территориальными органами внутренних дел (миграционными службами). KPMG Team's Eco-Adventure at Lake Burabay 🌳💚   On 17 August, our KPMG team embarked on an inspiring eco-trip to the picturesque Lake Burabay. The day was filled with meaningful activities as we joined forces to clean up the area, collecting litter and ensuring the natural beauty of the lake remains pristine for future visitors.   We took the time to appreciate the serene landscape, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the lake.   Beyond the environmental efforts, the trip was a fantastic opportunity for team bonding. We shared stories, laughed together, and strengthened our connections. The highlight of the day was a delicious lunch, where we savored local delicacies and enjoyed each other's company.   This eco-trip was not just about giving back to nature, but also about coming together as a team and creating lasting memories. We look forward to more such adventures in the future!

Highlighting KPMG’s Charity Football Tournament: A Day of Giving Back 💙 The charity football tournament hosted by KPMG on 18 August in Almaty was a day of spirited competition and heartfelt generosity, bringing together eight teams for a great cause. Though our team didn’t secure a top spot, the real highlight of the day was the impact we made together for a worthy cause. The tournament not only provided an opportunity for spirited competition but also raised awareness and funds for the Kazakhstan National Goalball Team, a sport specifically designed for visually impaired athletes, relies on a ball that emits sound to help players orient themselves. The proceeds from the event will be used to purchase essential sports equipment and uniforms for these dedicated athletes. The players also had the opportunity to experience an inspiring goalball demonstration, led by the President of Kazakhstan Goalball Federacy during the break. The vibrant emotions from the participants during this showcase were palpable, truly highlighting the spirit of the day. We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated, supported, and volunteered. Your enthusiasm and generosity have made a meaningful impact, and we are honored to have shared this experience with you. Thank you for being part of this special day and for helping us make a difference. We look forward to future events where we can continue to come together for such worthy causes.

Уважаемые читатели, С 3 августа 2024 года вступают в силу изменения в правилах выдачи иностранцам и лицам без гражданства разрешения на временное проживание в Республике Казахстан для осуществления предпринимательской деятельности (бизнес-иммигрантам). Согласно поправкам, помимо ранее требуемых документов, теперь для получения разрешения на временное проживание бизнес-иммигрантам необходимо предоставить медицинскую справку формы 028/у, медицинскую страховку и подтверждение наличия либо отсутствия судимости.
