This past weekend, UA Next hosted the next generation of #basketball talent at Elite 24 in Brooklyn. The nation’s top 24 boys and 24 girls high school basketball players got together for a unique multi-day experience, culminating in two highly competitive games which were broadcast live on ESPNU. ⛳ Rising Golf Star Christo Lamprecht Joins the UA Family At just 16-years old, Lamprecht won the South African Amateur Championship—the youngest player in history to win it. Now at 23-years old, the South African has ended his senior year at Georgia Tech as the top ranked amateur player in the word and decided to turn professional.   We are incredibly proud to support Christo in this new chapter of his career and look forward to creating and designing new innovative looks and equipment together. We sat down with Lamprecht to discuss this exciting next step in his journey. https://lnkd.in/e2MX5G_Z

This past weekend, Under Armour had the opportunity to host 20 local middle school girls from Score Hoops 3 on 3 Basketball at the #WNBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix for a special experience centered around women’s empowerment and representation. Based on the phrase “You can’t be what you can’t see,” all of the weekend’s events were designed to leverage the power of sport and spread the message of “See Me”.   Our UA athlete Marina Mabrey surprised the group and helped the young athletes get court ready with new gear and accessories. The girls then participated in a basketball clinic with UA athlete Kelsey Plum, 2024 Dawg Class alumna Saniya Rivers and Phoenix Mercury head coach Nate Tibbetts, followed by an interactive panel discussion.   https://lnkd.in/dSPDeX8C

We recently hosted our third annual HBCU Career Combine, a program open to all UA sponsored HBCUs which includes 13 schools within the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). This year's cohort included 17 students who visited our Baltimore Headquarters for an immersive leadership and career development experience. In her latest post, our Sr. Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Ashley Brown shares more about our commitment to sourcing talent from HBCUs and details from this year's combine.

Under Armour is honored to celebrate our global run athletes who earned their spots to compete on the track at the Paris 2024 Olympics! Congratulations to Matt Wilkinson and Weini Kelati (USA), Regan Yee (CAN), Edose Ibadan (NGR), Susan Ejore and Edwin Kurgat (KEN), Lauren Ryan (AUS), Neil Gourley (UK), and Ahmed Jaziri (TUN) all of whom punched their ticket to Paris after competing in various qualifying races over the past few weeks. Also just announced, Sharon Lokedi will head to her first Olympic Games to run the women’s marathon in place of her Kenya teammate who withdrew due to injury concerns. We look forward to cheering on our athletes across the finish line in Paris! These announcements come off the heels of our other UA Mission Run qualifiers last week where the brand hosted media, influencers, and partners at our Under Armour Hospitality House - just steps away from Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. At this event, they got to experience how an Under Armour athlete prepares to compete and learned about our latest footwear technology and our newest run shoe, the UA Velociti Pro.
