🙌 We are happy to announce that we've been selected as a Safe Online grantee, receiving part of the USD 10 million grant to fight online child sexual exploitation and abuse #CSEA. Our project, It’s A FACT will focus on creating a global evidence base to support the ecosystem in combatting online CSEA. It’s A FACT that more and more children are receivers, participants, and actors in the online environment, online risks are increasing with the rise in access to the internet in Africa. It’s A FACT is an 18-month participatory action Child-led research that aims to understand digital literacy competence among African children between 9-17 years in Malawi, Kenya, and Mali. To understand and identify what digital competencies they need, based on their lived experience, culture, and context to navigate the digital world safely and effectively. This study is keen to get the voices of children in conflict, rural, and marginalized parts of Africa. The study will inform The Africa Child Online Safety Model Law. Thank you for empowering us to make a difference in children's digital lives! #SafeOnline #SafeOnlineGrantees #DigitalSafety

Greetings from Baku! I’m thrilled to be here in #Baku for #COP29, surrounded by so many passionate individuals working toward a sustainable future. As I step into this space, I’m eager to learn, engage, and connect with those on the ground who are making change happen. I’m also here to represent the many children who couldn’t be here to share their voices—but whose futures are on the line. Their perspectives matter, and I’m proud to amplify them in every conversation I have. Are you here at COP? Let’s meet up! I’d love to connect with others who share a commitment to creating a better world for future generations. Who should I talk to while I’m here? Drop me a message, and let’s make something impactful happen together! #COP29 #ClimateAction #FutureGenerations #YouthVoices #Baku2024 #TrillionReasonsFromsAfrica
