We invite our collaborators to submit original articles that have not been published elsewhere. Papers that have been presented at conferences may be submitted only if they have been extensively revised or rewritten. It is the responsibility of authors to ensure the originality, authorship, accuracy, complete references, coherent organization and legible appearance of their works.
The first page of the manuscript should be the title page with the following: the title, name(s) of author(s), institutional affiliation, a 250-word abstract, and 5 keywords/concepts. The word-limit for articles is 8000 words including notes. Only the materials styled according to the latest (7th) edition of the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers will be considered for publication.
Articles that do not meet the submission guidelines posted on JPIC website will not be considered.
The articles submitted to Journal of Philology and Intercultural Communication must be original and not previously published in any journals. The submitted articles are independently evaluated by minimum two reviewers (scientific experts recognized in the respective field). Each paper is reviewed with regard to: the scientific level, topicality, originality, the validity of the conclusions, the impact in the respective field, the relevance of the cited references. The peer-review process is double blinded: the reviewers do not know who the authors are, and the authors do not have access to the information of who the peer-reviewers are.
JPIC Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement are based on position statements developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics COPE's Best Practice Guidelines.
The authors declare that their manuscript is original and in its present form has not been published elsewhere in any form, that it has not been submitted to any journal/proceedings and that it will not be submitted to any other journal/proceedings, if it is accepted for publication in JPIC.
The authors are responsible for their research and for the results described in their paper; the authors attest and guarantee the originality of their work and the fact that they do not plagiarize or infringe the copyright of anyone. If the article is a joint work of several authors (co-authors), the author who submits the article declares that any person named as author (co-author) of the article is aware of the requirements of this agreement and has agreed to being so named.
Conformance to standards of ethical behaviour is expected of all parties involved: Authors, Editors, Reviewers, and the Publisher.
