 In the article M. Merleau-Ponty’s phenomenology of visual experience is analyzed, the ontological structure of vision is explicated, the need of the distinction between “the invisible” and “the viewless” is grounded, and the parallel between M. Merleau-Ponty’s phenomenology and the other versions of phenomenological ontology (J.P. Sartre, M. Heidegger, S. Frank) is drawn.

In the article social forms of exchange of lie that are typical for such phenomena of communication as taradiddle, flattery, courtesy, tact, delicacy, diplomacy, and complementarity are viewed. It is shown that conventional lie being a phenomenon of public consent, provides secure communication mode and in this respect can be represented as a positive outlined phenomenon.

 The article focuses on the process of production of news photographs. News photographs, created by leading information agencies, occupy a significant place in the visual flow that surrounds modern man, however their production is practically not investigated. Proposed by the author revision of approaches, developed in the context of visual researches and sociology of journalism, promotes designation of fundamental principles of microanalysis of visual production. For their detalization the materials of fieldwork conducted in Moscow bureaus of international wire services (interviews and participant observation) carried out by the author are used.

• In the article the main aspects of subculture of the yuppie are considered, features of this subculture in Russia and abroad are analyzed. The article concerns the problem of forming the new way of Russian policy in Iran after the conclusion of the Tourkmanchay Treaty in 1828. It was a period, when the relations between two states turned from the hostility to the cooperation, under the Russian patronage. According to the article, there were two main principles of Russian policy in Iran after 1828: the strict compliance of the Tourkmanchay treaty conditions and strengthening of political influence in the country.

 The article studies the student years S.A. Kotlyarevsky and the formation of his scientific worldview, analyses the impact of the scientists of Moscow University on the problems of his historical works and further scientific work of a scieynitist.

 The article is devoted to the analysis of accumulated experience of native historiography on the problem of history of Karlinsky zasechnaya cherta. Considers the following questions: the concept of zasechnaya cherta, time of establishment of basis of Karlinsky (Tetyushska) cherta, Tetyushskaya’s cherta extension, existence of Old and New Tetyushskaya lines, and also defines the territorial location of zasechnaya cherta.

In the article the occasional verbs taken out of the works relating to informational and analytical genres of Solzhenitsyn’s journalism (articles, interviews, speeches, etc.) are considered. On the basis of the carried out structural-semantic and functional research the typical traits of author’s word-creation within the limits of specific part of speech are singled out.

the article the process of actualization of emotional and evaluative meaning of English verb is viewed; it is underlined that the process of actualization of evaluative component of the verb meaning is dependent on the specific structure of its lexical meaning. The greatest number of emotional and evaluative verbs is registered in the sphere of subneutral vocabulary. Emotive meaningfulness of English verb is determined by the processes of semantic transposition, stylistic reference and ethical lowering.

The present article focuses on the article forms of nouns as specific means of expression typical of J. Austen’s latest novels. Forms under consideration deviate from the grammatical norm and differ functionally. To specify their functions, the author uses the methods of linguostylistic and linguopoetic analysis.

In the article translation mistakes, connected with linguistic and social and cultural competences of the translator are viewed. On the material of translations of certain publications of quality American and British press the analysis of the most frequently occurring mistakes that are made in the translation of a problem-oriented article of publicistic style from English into Russian is carried out.

This article reveals the diversity of symbolic structure of the concept «number» («nymжts») as a basic concept of culture. According to the research it was concluded that symbolic component of the concept of «number» in the Ossetian cultural anthropology represented by the nominator «three» («жртж»), is based on constituent features of the concept, symbolizing both positive and negative aspects of Ossetians’ life.

The article contains description and results of applying stylistic stratification method to Stephen Hawking’s “A Brief History of Time”. Three strata differing in content and form are singled out in the text: scientific stratum, emotional-autobiographic one and general-philosophic one. The author views lexical, syntactic and punctuation peculiarities of the text.

In the article an attempt to look at realism as an artistic method from the point of view of how the concept of reality is interpreted in the philosophy and what is the essence of realism as philosophical setting is presented. The proposed hypothesis is that realism can be understood as a way to present ideas as if they were things by artistic means.

The article is devoted to the specifics of relationship to thing and material world in the works of poets and writers of three generations of Russian avant-garde writers. Transformation of avant-garde thing from futurist subject, resisting the impact of culture – in oberiut’s nonsemiotic body and conceptualist’s household object is traced.

In the article one of the aspects of competence-based education of mentally retarded pupils – natural science competence of junior pupils with mental development disorders is highlighted. The author views the definition, the structure of natural science competence for pupils of 1-4 forms of special VIII type school; grading parameters for this competence, characteristics (rates) and its maturity levels are described.

The article is devoted to scientific research concerning realization of rights of parents living separately in case of residence of the child with his stepfather (stepmother), cohabitor (cohabitant). Scientific research results and statistical data on the matter are investigated. The author proposes to discuss the question of strengthening contractual origins between the parents as living and not living together. The author’s point of view on determining the status of stepfather (stepmother), cohabitor (cohabitant) is presented.

In the article the powers of the parties that they can optionally realize by means of an institute of arbitration agreement are revealed. As a basis of research the stage of coordination of arbitration clause that is the most effective for achieving the named goal is viewed. The study of possible manifestations of the principle of free exercise of material and procedural rights by the parties to legal proceedings of foreign economic cooperation within the frameworks of international commercial arbitration is held on the stage of arbitration proceedings.

In the article basic theoretical regulations that reveal the essence of indictment as an act that accomplishes criminal prosecution on pre-trial procedure are contained. Problems of realization by the public prosecutor of his powers at consideration of indictment coming to him with a criminal case are analyzed.
