i love the idea of a QR count, or a gallery!! one thing i also think would be nice is if codes didn't repeat until you saw all of them (i also regret not adding WAY more codes and house decor!)

Yes there is! There's a 1/25 chance for a Solar Fish to be a variant.

There is a tackle at the end of the game that will make variants much easier to catch (it should make it a 1/6 chance).

No concrete plans yet, but we are considering possibly polishing the game up a bit and expanding on the game mechanics! (No promises though!)

The accelerometer controls work beautifully, and I hope more games try that type of control for cursors. It works so well, and kind of reminds me of Wii remotes in a way haha

Thanks! Good to know on the intro music! Music is a weak point for me, as you could tell, so I threw that together in about an hour. I personally like how it sounds, but if I ever release a full version, perhaps I should find a composer to make a better track!

THE LOBSTER IS INCREDIBLE

I love it. The artwork, the gameplay, and the music are really great!! I think I got the good ending (I think.. at least!).  Also that logo is fantastic. SSSS-tier

Hello!! Yes, there are as many fruit as fish in veggie mode.

Just a heads-up, you may still see references to fish in the dialogue, and the shopkeeper gives you the nickname "Fish Hunter". And also the final boss is a fish.

For the main gameplay, you will see fruits/veggies that replace the fish, and they'll even fill out in your journal as you catch them. Each fish has a fruit/veggie counterpart :)

This is an unbelievably impressive game. I don't know any other Playdate games that have this many objects on screen that run as well as Angel Pop does.

Really love the art and music too. Feels really liminal and nostalgic, and having the music progress as you play is a very nice touch! (Hamburger song is the best haha)

Also assuming you're in The Reef, $150 is pretty good!! Try saving up for the next fishing line upgrade first. You'll find that it helps a ton with catching better fish 👀

Hello!! Hotspots should refresh every in-game day (around sunrise). Once you've fished at one, it'll disappear and you'll have to fish around at any spot on the water.

Wow, this update is a Hallowin in my books! This update truly makes this a game to die for! The cosmetics here really fit in with the webb and flow of the rest of the game, and it all comes together to form one big master(rest in)peace.
