I liked it a lot! I would have preferred a longer game. It reminds me of BioShock, but with less action of course.

Do you plan to make a Heliophobia 2?

I agree that the shield of the pistol is overpowered. The enemies are not smart enough to attack you from the flanks or from above in case you have that shield. The shield would have to spend ammo, maybe accompany you and be destroyed after a few hits.

Thanks for answering. F6, ok, but you can't rebind the key nor does it appear in the menu.

1. A quick save button, without having to open the menu.

2. Always be able to wield the weapons used by enemies and that they drop the corresponding ammunition, not only sometimes.

3. From here this becomes more crazy/difficult. Bullet time to dodge projectiles and be able to destroy enemy projectiles with your own projectiles, with cooldown.

4. Radar in a corner of the screen, to detect most of the enemies and hazards.

5. Invisibility as a single use item but you can activate it by pressing a button, not by picking it up.

6. Time reversal field: a field is formed around you where time is reversed, reversing the trajectory of incoming projectiles and heading towards the enemies that fired them, possibly injuring them, with a cooldown.

I'm liking it, it's a simple but fun shooter, and the protagonist is cute.

Yes.

I didn't know that, thanks.

2) What I meant is that you can heal when you touch the pieces of dead enemies. But thanks you to answer!

(1 edit)

Things I would like to see in the full game:
1) Whenever enemies attack you with a weapon, you can pick up that weapon from them.

2) Be able to heal by stepping on the remains of defeated enemies.

3) Maybe super powers as bullet-time, but it should be accompained by more enemies or more powerful.

I loved your demo! It is simple but fun. A interesting thing is the differences between difficulties. First I played it in the easiest mode and then in the hardest mode, and they seem like two entirely different games. In hardest mode it's really challenging but fun, and it's very original that here the enemies only die if they are tear in pieces.
