Thanks for the kind words :) We've fixed the collision issue with the dock (and a whole bunch of other stuff) ready for the game's release later this year.

Hey thanks for playing! That's great to hear, you hit the nail on the head. I really wanted it to *feel* like you remember those games. Glad you liked it!

Thanks for playing dude :)

Thanks for the support and kind words :D

Thanks Chard!

Just pushed an update to fix some bugs. Thanks to everyone that's played so far.

Thanks, hope you have fun!

Thanks DreadedZombie :]

Hey, thanks for writing up such a detailed post of your thoughts! The demo has now been updated to v1.2 which should address a couple of your points. I've posted a devlog with the bug fixes/quality of life improvements made in this update.

I'm afraid driving on the righthand side of the car is here to stay though, it's a game set in Wales after all! Just think of it as an extra element of weirdness to add the game's tone :]

Hey, we're not planning for a MacOS release at the moment sadly!

Thanks Chard!

Hey thanks for the feedback! We should have shortcut keys working for the next update on the demo and will look into skipping the pickup screen for the full game.

Happy to hear you liked it :)

Hey all 👋 I've just released the demo for my slow burn psychological horror Chasing Static.

ITCH.IO DEMO AVAILABLE HERE

WISHLIST ON STEAM

ABOUT

Chasing Static is a psychological horror short story.

Explore the untouched wilderness of rural Wales as you uncover the forgotten remains of a
mysterious facility and find the truth behind the missing villagers of Hearth.

THE DEMO

We're really excited to share with you this early look into the world of Chasing Static.

Seek shelter from a crushing storm as Chris Selwood, a man traveling through rural Northern
Wales in the dead of the night following his father’s funeral. After a warm coffee courtesy of a
charming waitress at a roadside café offers a short respite, Chris witnesses unspeakable terror
as he sees the waitress violently pinned to the ceiling by an indescribable monstrosity.

Any questions, just ask. Would love to hear your thoughts on the demo.

Cheers!

HEADWARE GAMES

Deeply in love with this game. A perfectly paced exploration of AI sentience and morality presented in a way that surpasses prior explorations of the theme. Visually stunning.

I can't stop thinking about The Space Between. A bold, distant and yet intimate contemplation piece. A truly unique audio visual experience.

Turn off all distractions and give yourself an hour to experience this.

An engaging narrative experience that runs for just over an hour and manages to captivate with it's characters despite throwing the 'show and not tell' rule off a cliff. One of the best examples of dialogue I've seen in a game.
