I have checked with an "apollo solo", there is no direct signal from the card to the minimeters, it only comes from the desktop and it is not the real signal, about 9db less, I have to route the signal to +9 but in the end it is still not exact I use it to have references and it bothers me that I can't have the exact relationship.
Hey! Sorry you’re running into this. In 14.2 Apple broke the audio capture with external interfaces. I added the trim slider to help compensate. I opened a ticket with Apple and am hoping for a fix in a future macOS update.
