Join us for November's Bitsy jam with the theme "Bric-A-Brac"! This is the 8th monthly #bitsyjam - to participate just create a game (of any size) using Bitsy with the theme.
Bric-A-Brac (What's that?)
The theme is "Bric-A-Brac" but you can interpret it however you want! You can make the theme central to your game, or just a tiny reference. Bric-A-Brac means "miscellaneous objects and ornaments of little value" and is a synonym of ornaments, knickknacks, trinkets, bibelots, gewgaws, gimcracks, or tchotchkes.
- Make a game about a weird junk shop
- Or a souvenir you got on a trip
- Or something you own that you don't know what it is
- Or a chipped mug that you refuse to get rid of
- ... Or whatever you want!
Optional modifier: Use items!
The latest version of Bitsy (4.0+) has a new feature that lets you add items the player can pick up! If you're looking for an extra challenge, consider adding items to your game. :)

Bitsy is a little editor for little worlds or games. You can use it to make a game in your browser just by drawing it! If you're new to Bitsy and don't know where to start I recommend reading Claire Morley's Bitsy tutorial. If you want to see games people have made with Bitsy, there's a big list of the games here on itch.io. There is also a forum where you can ask questions or make suggestions!
