Voy a comparar el Año nuevo en Cali - Colombia y en New York – EEUU:

I am going to compare the New Year in Cali - Colombia and in New York - USA:

En Cali Colombia la comida especial en el año nuevo es la carne de Pavo, en New york es la costilla
asada (prime rib), el pavo ES MAS SALUDABLE que la costilla, aunque la costilla ES MAS GRANDE
que el pavo, el pavo ES MAS AGRADABLE que la costilla. El modo de vestir en mi ciudad, es común,
(Camisa, jean, tenis), en new york, es un traje con abrigo para el frio debido al clima por que en
new york en diciembre esta en invierno, en Cali estamos en clima cálido. El Clima frio es MAS
MALO que el clima Caliente, el clima frio hace el día MAS NUBLADO que el clima caliente, pero el
clima frio es MUCHO MAS FRESCO que el clima cálido. El clima frio es ES MAS PEREZOSO que el
clima Caliente.. En el modo de vestir, ES MAS BONITO como se visten en estados unidos, aunque
esta ropa ES MUCHO MAS CARA pero ES MAS BUENA que la que usamos en Colombia.

El año nuevo en mi ciudad, se disfruta en familia en casa, en New york se disfruta en el Time
Square, pero ES MUCHO MÁS AGRADABLE compartirlo en familia que en el time square, aunque el
time square ES MÁS BONITO Y ESPACIOSO que la casa, pero LA CASA ES MÁS SEGURA.

The New Year in my city is enjoyed with the family at home, in New York it is enjoyed in Time
Square, but IT IS MUCH MORE PLEASANT to share it with the family than in Time Square,

Una tradición importante en mi ciudad es correr con maletas de viaje en la calle del barrio lo cual
ES MUCHO MÁS TONTO. En new york es tradición importante observar fuegos artificiales a media
noche , lo cual ES MUCHO MAS LINDO QUE CORRER con maletas de viaje en la calle , aunque es
MAS SANO CORRER Con maletas que escuchar fuegos artificiales ,ES MAS GRACIOSO VER LA gente
corriendo con maletas, pero ES MUCHO MAS BRILLANTE ver los fuegos artificiales.

An important tradition in my city is running with suitcases on the neighborhood street, which IS

Como actividad en familia y amigos en mi ciudad, es costumbre guardar “lentejas” en los bolsillos
para tener mucho dinero en el año que inicia , en new york, es costumbre orar y cenar juntos como
símbolo de unión ; ES MUCHO MAS TONTO lo que hacemos en mi ciudad, lo que hacen en new
york es algo MUCHO MAS PROFUNDO, MAS FIRME QUE lo que hacemos en Colombia. Pero en
estados unidos SON MAS TRISTES que en Colombia, en Colombia SOMOS MUY ALEGRES.

As an activity with family and friends in my city, it is customary to keep “lentils” in our pockets to

United States THEY ARE SADDEST than in Colombia, in Colombia WE ARE VERY HAPPIEST

En mi vida impacta esta fecha, por que es una fecha en la cual ESTOY MAS FELIZ y MAS AMABLE
QUE todos, genera impacto, por que el próximo año será MUCHO MAS LARGO, y no se que pueda
tener el año para mi. Es MUCHO MAS PRECIOSO tener la expectativa . SOY MAS JOVEN que mis
padres , pero SOY MAS SABIO al pensar lo FÁCIL QUE puede ser el nuevo año, y no pensar que
PUEDE SER MAS ESPANTOSO que el año anterior.

This date impacts my life, because it is a date on which i am HAPPIER and KINDER than everyone,
it generates an impact, because next year will be MUCH LONGER, and I don't know what the year
could have for me. It is MUCH MORE LOVELIEST to have the expectation. I AM YOUNGER than
my parents, but I AM WISER to think about how EASIER the new year can be, and not think that
it CAN BE MORE SCARIER than the year before.
