Back-end design and development in JavaScript, Java, and Python, using sysadmin knowledge for better deployments on-premises, Azure, and AWS in a DevOps team. Experienced in Communication, Team Management and Public Speaking. Some experience with front-end development in Vue.js. Currently working in Leonardo with past activity in associations, the local startup scene and in project management. I like meeting new people and getting in touch with the different ways of thinking. I stay tuned to what’s new in tech and Infosec, and quite often tinker on my own testing some the tools that shape the tech scene. From time to time, I blog on my website.

    Open day about understanding Linux hardening.
    We demoed live SELinux, GrSecurity, Tomoyo 1.8 and AppArmor as security tools against root escalation, backdoors and some well-known vulnerabilities, such as shellshock. The theory behind those tools and a comparison followed the live sessions.

    "EYE Enabling Youth Entrepreneurship Support Group Project is a 24 months research project to uncover the potential of young entrepreneurs across Europe, rethinking the incubation and support processes that could lead them to design, implement and run sustainable ventures. The project is financed by the Erasmus+ Programme – Cooperation and Innovation for Good Practices and involves four organisation from Romania, Macedonia, Italy and The Netherlands.

    Francesco participated in the event “Y Incubate for young entrepreneurs” organised in Siracusa and his contribution was very valuable for testing the tools developed in the second phase of the project – the methodology consisting of different tools, guidelines, activities to enable and spark entrepreneurial behaviour and desire into European youth.

    His vivid communication skills, his excellent rapport with all the participants of the event (team members, partner representatives, researchers and colleagues), his entrepreneurial attitude recommend him for pursuing studies in his desired field, for participating into an incubation program and for contributing to similar European projects and activities."
