Si è riempita di sogni l’ex Squadra Rialzo del Villaggio Olimpico, un tempo officina dedicata alla riparazione dei treni, per la prima volta aperta al pubblico. I sogni di 13 squadre di 130 studenti delle più importanti università di Milano e Roma, chiamati a pensare nuovi modelli urbani, di comunità, di lavoro, e a immaginare la civiltà che verrà. Difficile ma doveroso scegliere, abbiamo un vincitore! La giuria, presieduta da Ferruccio Resta, ha assegnato la vittoria dell’Hackathon all’Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele con il sogno Organism. “Le città del futuro non sono solo luoghi, ma organismi viventi e respiranti in cui ogni individuo si sente libero di essere se stesso. Le strade sono le vene e le arterie di questo organismo, Il cuore della città batte al ritmo dei sogni e delle aspirazioni dei suoi abitanti. Nel 2054, la città non è solo efficiente: è viva. Il calore umano di una città costruita intorno all'idea di comunità, dove ogni azione è finalizzata al benessere dell'individuo e, quindi, della collettività.” Seconda e terza classificata rispettivamente l'Università degli Studi di Milano con il sogno Pluralism e l'Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata con il sogno SymbioCity. Le visioni degli studenti confluiranno nel capitolo conclusivo, non ancora scritto e intitolato “Unwritten Chapter: Next 50 Years”, del libro dedicato ai 50 anni di COIMA, che avvia la riflessione sul futuro dei centri urbani per i prossimi 50 anni.
