CEMB is a leading company in balancing and vibration analysis field. CEMB’s core business incorporates all industrial applications inherent to vibration analysis: the Industrial Equipment Division of CEMB develops, manufactures and exports worldwide a range of vertical axis and horizontal axis balancing machines, produces fully automated high-tech machines specifically dedicated to assembly-lines of automotive manufacturers; this latter field is in continuous growth thanks to the contribution of our Hofmann sister company located in Germany. The Garage Equipment Division handles wheel balancing machines, tire changers and alignments for cars, trucks and motorcycles. The Instrumentation Division manufactures vibration sensors, stationary and portable equipment for vibration measurement and analysis, balancing in service conditions, 24h monitoring and control of vibration to protect large machinery in the energy and industrial plant fields such as gas turbines, compressor pumps and motors. Since 1946 the headquarters have always been located in Italy, at Mandello del Lario, on the eastern shore of Lake Como. Over the years the production facilities and R&D departments have extended and modernized, in connection with the company growth and substantial investments to preserve both heart and style in Italy.

Grazie alla disponibilità ed entusiasmo dei relatori, si è reso possibile un momento di scambio prezioso con gli studenti, i quali hanno mostrato grande interesse e partecipazione attiva. Il momento di formazione si è arricchito con una visita aziendale presso la sede produttiva di Mandello del Lario, dove CEMB progetta e produce macchine equilibratrici per il settore Industriale, e dove gli studenti hanno avuto modo di vedere le diverse fasi che portano al lancio sul mercato di un nuovo prodotto, passando dallo sviluppo, alla progettazione, all’integrazione e alla verifica dello stesso.

🏆 CEMB is now compliant with UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025! The CEMB Testing Laboratory is accredited according to criteria defined by the Testing Laboratories Department of ACCREDIA (The Italian Accreditation Body). The application of these criteria is aimed at fostering the creation and maintenance of confidence of clients, operators and users in the activities of accredited laboratories and in the impartiality and integrity of the technical and commercial operations associated with them. Accreditation ACCREDIA is granted to Laboratories that comply with the requirements of UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025 and with the requirements of ACCREDIA, EA and ILAC prescriptive documents. Accreditation demonstrates the technical competence of the CEMB Laboratory to perform the activities/tests indicated in the scope of accreditation.
