Happy World Mental Health Day! 🧠 Mental well-being is just as important as physical health, especially in the workplace. That's why we recently celebrated Global Mental Well-Being Week, where we dedicated time to emphasize the significance of this topic. During this week, we encouraged open conversations about mental well-being and provided activities to promote a positive work environment including talks, team exercises, and 'well done' cards to recognize and appreciate colleagues. While Global Mental Well-Being Week was a special event, we believe that prioritizing mental well-being should be an ongoing effort. It's about fostering continuous awareness of how we can take care of our own mental well-being and promote positive behavior among our colleagues every day. At Topsoe, we have a strong health and safety culture called Zero Harm, which includes focusing on mental well-being. By integrating mental well-being into our overall health and safety practices, we aim to create an even better workplace for all our colleagues around the world. #WorldMentalHealthDay

Together with Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) and United Airlines, we hosted an event at CEM15 in Brazil to explore how public and private sectors can drive investment in decarbonizing energy-intensive industries, especially long-distance transport.   Aviation currently contributes 2-3% of global emissions, with demand projected to grow. Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) offers between 60-80% emission savings in comparison to conventional fuel, and e-jet fuels can save up to 100% of emissions. The demand is set to grow exponentially over the coming decades to help reach net zero   We're ready to support the transition with proven technologies and our SAF-focused joint venture, Zaffra, in partnership with Sasol.   The challenge? We need decisive policy action, risk-sharing models, and stronger partnerships to unlock the potential of SAF production. It's time to accelerate.   #LetsDecarbonize #CEM15MI9

What’s the buzz about hydrogen?   Hydrogen is one of the most abundant elements on earth, and it can be produced sustainably through green or low-carbon (blue) methods.   This makes hydrogen a promising solution in the global energy transition, offering essential pathways for rapidly decarbonizing energy-intensive sectors that cannot be directly electrified.   This week, we were thrilled to take part in World Hydrogen Week in Copenhagen.
