At #SchoolSwasthyaPanchayat our Panel Discussion also focused on Social Media Addiction and Adolescent Well-being 📱🧠 The panel highlighted that social media addiction is a mental disorder impacting relationships, academics, and overall well-being. Adolescents are particularly vulnerable due to their developing brains, leading to isolation, loss of confidence, and increased cyberbullying. The constant comparison and creation of fake online personas fuel anxiety and depression. Addressing these issues requires spreading awareness, reducing screen time, encouraging physical activities, and involving parents in guiding healthier behaviors. We would like to thank our speakers, Dr. Swati Saxena Kapoor Dr Prakamya Singal, Ms. Kiran Tomar, and Mr. Pranav Menon, for enriching the panel discussion. #MentalHealth #AdolescentWellbeing #SocialMediaAddiction #ParentalInvolvement #HealthyLiving #schoolswasthyapanchayat #sharpngo #socialmedia #mentalhealth #worldmentalhealthday #adolescents #students #panindia
