PLR Systems Pvt Ltd (PLR) is a Joint Venture between Adani Group, India and Israel Weapon Industries (IWI), Israel for manufacturing of world class Small Arms in India. IWI weapons like TAVOR Assault Rifle, X95 Assault Rifle, GALIL Sniper Rifle, NEGEV Light Machine Gun and UZI Sub Machine Gun are already in service with the Indian Armed Forces, CAPFs (CRPF/ BSF/ SFF) and State Police Forces. The Tavor Assault Rifles and Galil Sniper Rifles were used by our elite Special Forces during the Surgical Strikes. In response to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s clarion call of ‘Make in India’ initiative, PLR has established a State-of-the-Art Small Arms manufacturing facility at Malanpur Industrial Area, Gwalior, MP and is proud to be the first private sector company that was granted license by Govt of India for manufacturing of Small Arms and Ammunition. PLR has begun manufacturing the complete range of these weapons at its facility and has commenced supply of weapons to multiple state police and Central Armed Police Forces. The first set of Indian Manufactured X95 Assault Rifles were manufactured from the plant in Oct 2018. PLR has also established a Gunsmith Shop and an Opto Electronic Laboratory to carry out the Maintenance, Repair and Overhauling (MRO) of Small Arms and Weapon Sights.
