In case you hadn’t noticed 😉 this week marks International Women’s Day. As a successful Hi-Tech company, Opsys Technologies is conscious to keep pushing the boundaries for women in tech. We hope that by shining the spotlight on one of the incredible women here at Opsys, Sarit Israeli, it will provide inspiration for the next generation of girls, especially those thinking about a career in tech. We must also be doing something right by our employees as we’re proud of our retention rate😊as Sarit joined the team approx. four years ago as a Senior Physicist and has since been promoted to our System Optics Team Leader 🙌. As such, she’s responsible for ensuring the LiDAR system optical design and performance. In case you’re wondering what type of background you need for such a position, Sarit has 25+ years of lab experience, design and testing and 20 years’ working in R&D with multidisciplinary machine vision systems, focusing on optics and illumination aspects. Sarit has vast knowledge in non-imaging optics and illumination technologies, as well as both visible and infrared regions. Her expertise also covers optical components, lighting systems, lasers, optical design and simulations. And if this wasn’t enough, Sarit has a PhD in Applied Physics to boot!🏆 It’s always good to take stock, and not take it for granted of the talent we surround ourselves with every day of the week. We salute you, Sarit and our numerous other hard-working females at Opsys which we’re blessed with.
