According to several studies, the selection of domestic travelers is influenced by factors such as the quality of the room, the location of the hotel, the level of security provided, the efficiency and helpfulness of the service staff, the available features, and amenities of the hotel, as well as the ratings and feedback provided by previous guests. This study examines the relationship between these variables through the utilization of non-probability sampling and quantitative research techniques, such as multiple linear regression and descriptive data analysis. The results underscore the significance of guest feedback, hotel amenities, and staff performance. Although the study acknowledges the importance of its findings, it also acknowledges the presence of sampling bias and self-reported social desirability bias. The present study investigates the decision-making process of domestic tourists when selecting resorts in Kalaw, Myanmar. This comprehensive analysis examines the various factors that impact the choices of domestic tourists in Kalaw, Myanmar. The results of this study have the potential to assist resort operators in enhancing guest satisfaction and gaining a competitive advantage. The present study holds considerable importance for the Kalaw resort industry since it specifically examines the preferences and interests of domestic tourists.

The Survey results of 200 bank customers in India find that the Indians are still holding back from embracing the digital platforms to make payments. The study could not establish the constructive effects of demonetization in e-banking adoption behaviour, despite the significant growth in the use of small digital payment platforms like Paytm. However, the usage of Point of Sale (POS) machines for transacting payments has increased tremendously. The research finds drastic reductions in the use of other e-payment modes during and after demonetization. In that sense, the study concludes that the demonetization negatively affects the technology banking adoption behaviour of customers of Indian banks.

an investor who is willing to invest on the production of basalt-based brake pad in
Nigeria, Nigeria has huge demand of brake as revealed by data obtained from
National Bureau of Statistics Abuja (NBS). The analysis was based on deductive
economic analysis which assumptions were made and arrived at particular result and
the costing was based on Activity-Based Costing (ABC) where overhead and indirect
cost were assigned to the related product. The economic analysis will give an insight
to an investor (s) who has been skeptic about investing in the manufacturing of brake
pad in Nigeria. The analysis revealed that the total capital require for this investment
is #54,520,184.00 to set up a manufacturing plant with a capacity of 12,960 pieces of
brake pad per day with a depreciation period of ten years. It also showed that if the
line will run at 75% efficiency, the annual production is 2,566,080 pieces of brake
pads. The unit cost of production is #520.85, unit selling price is #572.935, interest
before tax of #6,797,983.869, break-even quantity of 861,019pieces, payback period
of eight months. The annual total cost of production is #1,373,924,104.00, annual
total sales revenue of #1,470,309,952.00. Twenty-seven people are require for
manning the plant. It is clear from above information the investment is worthwhile
because of the good payback period and considering the huge demand in Nigeria
of Information and Communication Technologies for economic change in Nigeria among
professional accountants. The concept of “Information Society” has made it imperative that
no country can develop without involving and focusing on regional and global development
perspectives. Collaboration has become the key word. When we talk of integrated socioeconomic
change, it takes into account many areas which can benefit from faster access and
enhanced productivities by using ICT. Some case studies on use of ICT for different initiatives
within Nigeria are reviewed and conclusions drawn on how it does support the socio-economic
change and development, which may be similar and bear lessons for other developing
countries. The supply side of ICTs has increased substantially in Kenya. For example, the
number of mobile phone subscribers has more than tripled over the past five years, while FM
radio stations have proliferated all over the country. There has been a lot of enthusiasm on
internet usage with the landing of three undersea fibre optic cables in Lagos and their
subsequent operationalization. Marxs of mobile phone service providers and communication
equipment now dot both the rural and urban landscapes, and advertisements for some form of
ICTs are common on billboards along major highways and roads.
Information System (IFMIS) on performance of public sector in Nigeria. Public finance
management has come under immense scrutiny by donor community as well as general public
in a call for enhanced accountability of the government expenditures for an improved public
service delivery. To analyse the effectiveness of identified factors on the use of the system,
descriptive and inferential statistics were used. The sample size was drawn from the sections of
finance department that includes, budgeting, procurement and internal audits, and at public
works department where the financial systems are applied. The study revealed that there was a
positive relationship between the effectiveness of IFMIS on public financial management and
the independent variables; financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls and projects as
was revealed in the regression analysis. The study concluded that there was a relationship
between IFMIS in public finance and financial reporting, budgeting, internal control and
government projects as 72.4% of the effectiveness of IFMIS was accounted for by the study
independent variables. The relationship gave 95% confidence level of effectiveness. The study
recommended that the IFMIS be enhanced and improved at system development level so that it
gives real figure and factor in more functions of operation linked to financial service for better
service delivery.
much property and associated economic activity as possible without disrupting current activity
or expending funds on projects that provide limited long-term utility or social value. Of
interest is how the coincidence of these events impacts the need for storm water improvements
and the financial obligations they will entail. This research project focused on the impacts of
a non-coastal, groundwater influenced southeast Florida community and the long-term
funding they will need to reduce flooding in the community using GIS. This research involved
defining surface elevations and groundwater levels, assessing the impacts of sea level rise on
groundwater, assessing impacts to storm water from rainfall, identifying likely improvements,
and assessing the scale for improvements. The analysis used three extreme rainstorm events
under the 0-, 1-, 2-, and 3-foot sea level rise scenarios to determine the magnitude of the cost
of the improvements. For a 35-square mile community, our research estimated that the cost
could exceed $300 million. For a community not directly adjacent to the coast, the magnitude
of these costs should be of interest to similarly placed communities.
network structure. We make a study of contagion risk and the proportion of failed bank assets
by exploiting the two conditions of the core capital adequacy ratio is less than 6% and the loss
is higher than the bank’s tier 1 capital, and compares the size of the difference of liquidity
ratio before and after the risk. The results show that we can more accurately obtain the order
of bank failures based on the above three criteria. Meanwhile, (not) vulnerable banks and the
sequence of importance of Bank of Communications, Minsheng Bank, Shanghai Pudong
Development Bank and Industrial Bank are given in the banking system.
from the organizations. Forty eight bottom level employees from private sector were selected
for the purpose of the study as the sample. Sample employee was selected using convenient
sampling technique. A self -administrated questionnaire was used to measure the constructs in
the model. A hypothesis was formulated as ‘the relationship conflict is positively associated
with the intention of quit’. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS 21 version. It was

from the organization is positively associated with each other.
electricity, need to optimize the utilization of power generation capacity and increase in the
interconnections are the major issues with which power sector is dealing with. Energy
consumption per person is also rising tremendously in developing countries. However,
installing a new power plant cannot be a solution every time. Dense population, availability of
land, initial and installation cost can be the major issues in this case. Huge transfer of power
from generating plants to load centre at long distance with bulky transmission lines is causing
to upgrade voltage class to Extra High Voltage (EHV) from High Voltage (HV). [1]
structure. The primary goal of the web site owner is to provide the relevant information to the
users to fulfill their needs. In order to achieve this goal, they use the concept of web mining.
Web mining is used to categorize users and pages by analyzing the users‟ behaviour, the
content of the pages, and the order of the URLs that tend to be accessed in order. Most of the
search engines are ranking their search results in response to users' queries to make their
search navigation easier. With a web browser, one can view web pages that may contain text,
images, videos, and other multimedia, and navigate between them via hyperlinks. It is very
difficult for a user to find the high quality information which he wants. Page Ranking
algorithm is needed which provide the higher ranking to the important pages. In this paper,
we discuss the improvement of Page ranking algorithm to provide the higher ranking to
important pages. Most of the search engines are ranking their search results in response to
user’s queries to make their search navigations easier.

governance that have led to the currently troubling state of affairs in the financial reporting
environment. Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is a mandatory requirement in today’s
corporate world by every stakeholder groups. Failure of giant corporate groups in the last twothree
decades strengthens the demand further. And surprisingly, in some of such failures,
accounting as a discipline is held liable. The way accounting is practiced or the interpretations
that may give different prescriptions in similar situations are some dark areas that may open
some scope for the corrupted accountants. The paper covers the concept of corporate
governance, its legal framework, its current status and how accounting may be practiced to
protect corporates from corruption by establishing governance. The paper analyzes how IFAC
is succeeding as an international standard setter with an established place in the global
financial infrastructure and it reveals a growing reliance on governance by experts together
with a growth in influence of the large, multinational accounting firms. Until corporate
boards are truly independent of corporate management and are knowledgeable enough to act
as effective shareholder advocates, changes in accounting will be of limited impact.
An inductive reasoning or bottom up approach was used in this research project. The main method
of data collection used was semi-structured interviews conducted with selected government
officials whose position and experience would enable them to provide useful data on the issues
being explore. Some of the main findings of the research was that the interviewers predominantly
conducted unstructured interviews and the interviewers had not received any training on how to
conduct interviews and carryout the selection process. In addition, the interviewers did not have
any standard selection criteria when recruiting academic staff to the college of technology. The
research findings will help administrators in Oman to improve the recruitment and selection
process of academic Staff.

institution because of the emotional attachment of the individual to the institution influenced
by personality and integrity factors. That is why the objective of this research is to find out
whether there is a direct effect of personality and integrity on employees affective organizational
commitment. A causal survey used by selecting 116 employees at Universitas Negeri Jakarta by
using Simple Random Sampling (SRS). There were three instruments developed to measure
affective organizational commitment (37 items) with a reliability of 0.961, personality (44 items)
with reliability 0.967, and integrity (29 items) with a reliability of 0.94. Data were analyzed using
regression, correlation, and path analysis. The results showed that personalityand integrity
directly and significantly affect employees affective organizational commitment, however
integrity was not a good mediated variable between personality and affective organizational
commitment. These findings mean that when employees organizational commitment would be
improved, factors such as personality, especially big-five personality and integrity could be taken
into account.

machining operations. In fact, the natural diffusion in the liquid is very slow, especially the
mixing ratio, and the homogeneity of the solution is difficult to achieve according to the
manufacturer's recommendation. Hence, the agitator is required to improve the uniformity of
the solution in that the obtained cutting fluid can be effectively used in machining processes to
fulfill the role of cooling and lubricating. In this work, the application of the similarity method
and dimensional analysis for studying agitator model for mixing Aquatex 3180 cutting oil to
build the set of input parameters in the experimental process. The results reveal that the input
parameters in the study of the agitator model using 9 similarity criterions πi (i = 1 ... 9) instead
of 12 independent parameters. In addition, the standard π2 can characterize the displacement
properties of the fluid flow considering the influence of gravity. It means that the number of
experiments reduce but still ensure that many experimental input parameters are still
guaranteed, therefore ensuring proper description of the actual operation of the machine.

that after finishing college they can create jobs instead of looking for work.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning Entrepreneurship courses on
student entrepreneurial motivation. Entrepreneurship is a mental and mental attitude that is
always active in trying to advance its devotional work in an effort to increase income in its
business activities. While motivation is something that encourages someone to act or behave in
a certain way to meet their needs. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a
sample of 40 respondents and data collection techniques using questionnaires. The results of
this study are simple linear regression analysis calculated as follows: Y = Y ̌= 21.31 + 0.502 X,
the correlation coefficient (r) between the variables X and Y is obtained by the correlation
coefficient of 0.70. This value indicates that the two variables have a positive and strong
influence. the magnitude of the effect of learning Entrepreneurship courses on student
entrepreneurial motivation is 49%, while the remaining 51% is influenced by other factors not
included in this research variable. Furthermore, it is known that there is a positive and
significant influence on student entrepreneurial motivation, because the value of tcount is
greater than the value of ttable (6.039> 2.024) then Ha is accepted.
hydrological and climatological factors. Reasonably accurate assessment of groundwater
recharge and discharge components is not easy because no direct measurement techniques are
presently available. Therefore, indirect methods are generally employed for assessment of
groundwater resources. Groundwater is a dynamic and replenishable resource which is

Health Organization highlights the importance of hand Hygiene
(Handwashing) by Soap/surfactant for 20 seconds and the use of alcoholbased Sanitizers as a part of personal health care. Soap functions as a
weapon for sterilization of any viruses present on the surface. The lipid
envelope of virusesis more susceptible to heat, desiccation or action of
surfactants. Single tailed Quaternary ammonium compound surfactant is
most commonly used as disinfectant or cleaning agent. Similarly, Gemini
surfactants can also play a vital role as disinfectant / sanitizerin future. It
is suggested that Gemini surfactants have imperative function in Air
sanitation. Also, there is a valid comparison of Coronavirus with other SARS
diseases. The deadly nature of virus can be understood by knowing its
mechanism of action and mode of transmission. Once a chain of human to
human transmission is initiated then it is very tricky to rupture the chain.
The history of commerce dates back to the evolution of the human race on
planet earth. It all started with a barter system where give and take was the
policy. As and when the human race started to evolve loopholes in the
system started to grow, and slowly but steadily, complexities started
growing. Commercial aspects started gaining much relevance in peoples
lives. People started dividing themselves geographically and started
exchanging between two distinct geographies, as and when the divisions
were made, there started differences in the thoughts as to how commercial
activities are ought to be conducted. While few conflicted with each other,
few were drawn on similar lines to ensure smooth commercial activities.
Such commercial activities slowly started forming economies of the
geographies, economists who defined the way economies have to be run
with their theories grew in number. This paper draws differences and
similarities between thoughts that arose between Indian and western
country’s economists on commerce and economic activities over various
time frames.

market demand depends on time as well as selling price and product reliability. The
vendor’s production rate is not constant but depends on the market demand. The
vendor’s production process is not perfectly reliable; it may produce some
percentage of defective items during a production run. The vendor takes up a lot-forlot policy for delivering the ordered quantity to the buyer who performs 100%
screening after receiving each lot. The average total profit of the integrated supply
chain is derived and a numerical example is taken to validate the developed model.
The optimal results of the proposed model are also discussed for some particular
cases. Sensitivity analysis is performed to investigate the influence of key modelparameters on the optimal results.
in terms of obtaining fair rights in trade transactions. The Metrology Center as the
implementor of metrology still faces obstacles in the implementation of its services,
currently the service has only reached 24.7% of the total metrology equipment used.
Obstacles that occur in addition to the problem of inadequate facilities and
infrastructure are also because the process of capturing metrological data is still
done manually using many paper documents. In each service element, there are
various kinds of documents that must be filled out manually and in the end these
documents will be archived separately. This flow of data and information has not
been well documented, although the output data from this process will be processed
into metrology information that will be used by management above it in making
decisions. Metrology Information System was developed to overcome the obstacles

A total of 50 questionnaires with self-explanatory questions were administered to employees of Wipro technologies in Bangalore. MS-Excel and Statistics were used for analysis purpose.
The findings of the study are discussed in the context of the theoretical and empirical background of employee absenteeism in the workplace. The findings indicated that 48%of informants fall in the age group of 20-30 years, 56% of informants are male, 36%, greater part of the Employees are satisfied with the job replacement offered via the business, 32%are not subjected to any disciplinary action only a few percent of employees are subjected to serious disciplinary action like i.e,6%. The results of the research have given valuable insights into the area of employee absenteeism in the workplace at Wipro Technology in Bangalore. By adapting the above suggestions will make the organization in helping to have optimum number of employees at workplace.
From a behavioural and psychological perspective, employee engagement is an issue connected to the deep neuro-psychological thread of analysis and interpretation which is rare. Considering the backdrop designing a taxonomy of the word connecting to engagement is a need of hour. The paper meticulously designs taxonomies of components of neuro-behaviour and brain-connecting employee engagement to interpret brain-based engagement. The study forwarded a host of neuro-based strategies for employee engagement to management practitioners, academia, and researchers for future research.
Distinct unit cell techniques, including those proposed by Happel, Kuwabara, Kvashnin, and Mehta and Morse, are analyzed to observe the effects of hydraulic resistivity, porous layer thickness, and porosity on the dimensionless drag for a bounded micropolar fluid system. The results, graphically represented in a series of plots, reveal a complex interplay between these parameters, significantly impacting drag forces and providing insight into the hydrodynamics of a swarm of porous particles, akin to that encountered in oral drug delivery systems.
The study identifies a general inverse relationship between hydraulic resistivity and drag and highlights the nuanced effects of porous layer thickness and porosity on fluid resistance, with stark contrasts observed among different unit cell models. These findings underscore the importance of the chosen unit cell technique in predicting and optimizing the flow behavior in micropolar fluid systems.
