Unprofessional company w. long waiting on the phone for troubleshooting and assistance when their system fails. The system is not up to the promises as it fails all the time. It was a not ready system to go in the market. Gives great deal of problems to professionals like us restaurateurs.

When I was contacted by Karl from FlatPay I thought it was one of those scam / too good to be true offers. I've been fed up for years with paying too much for credit card fees but I didn't think there were any options to choose from. When I heard about the low fees that FlatPay charged compared to ALL the other providers on the market I assumed it wasn't true or at the very least that their equipment wouldn't work properly. Actually, the opposite was true. I've been working with Verifone for years (over 15 years) and for the last year I had a lot of problems with their machines. Then they upgraded me to their newest credit card machine which they said would solve the problem but it only got worse - transactions would go through maybe 75% of the time and I had to have another machine as backup which was frustrating for my staff - not to mention our customers - Ahhhh!! They promised they would fix the problem but months went by without any solution. When I got the new machines from FlatPay they were... fast... and they worked... all the time... And when I had a question they answered the phone without waiting time and called me back the same day to follow up. Not what I was expecting but it was a pleasant surprise. Niiice!! Hats off to Karl and his team. It's been smooth sailing since we started. Very much recommended!
