The latest IrishJobs report reveals positive signs in the Irish jobs market: Vacancy Levels Steady for the first time in 2 years with no decline in job postings. Sectors like catering, trades, health, and retail see vacancy growth. While some export-related sectors show slight dips, the overall trend suggests a mature and strong jobs market. Interestingly fully remote positions saw a decrease, to 2.2%, down from its highest level of 3.3% in the third quarter of 2023, but IT and construction remain significant job hubs. Mr. Dooley, Country Director of The Stepstone Group Ireland with responsibility for IrishJobs, expects greater stability in vacancy rates over the coming months. He also highlights the positive performance of domestic sectors, which may be fueled by a rise in real incomes among the Irish population.
