This was possibly our busiest weekend ever! 18 events, festivals, and race meetings, and more than 1,000 staff involved! Massive congrats to every single person who contributed to this phenomenal achievement. 👏 During the UK bank holiday weekend, our teams were working at Reading and Leeds Festivals, Creamfields, and, for the first time, at Lost Village . In Ireland, we were back at Another Love Story and Wider Than Pictures, and we had our teams at Dualla Show and The Big Grill Festival. This marked the end of a busy week where we were involved in after-cleaning a couple of other events and pre-cleaning a few others. And with adverse weather, thanks to Storm Lillian, and tents or even bins flying in the air, it wasn’t always easy to keep the sites clean. We are so proud of our entire team working tirelessly on the ground, as well as our back office for providing critical support for this immense logistical operation. But the season is far from over! Next stops – Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, BBC Radio 2 In The Park, National Ploughing Championships, the Irish Open and three more nights with Coldplay at Croke Park. Let’s keep the great work rolling!

How to Make Music Festivals More Sustainable?♻️ We’re proud to present a new way to process waste on-site and improve recycling efficiency. The system, developed together with Dan Thomas from Waste Baling Machines Wales Baling Machines, allows us to produce clean streams of resources which are sent directly to recycling facilities to be transformed into something new. We first tested this new approach at AEG Presents UK BST Hyde Park a couple of weeks ago with superb results. During Festival Republic’s Latitude Festival, our next event together, we operated a highly efficient on-site waste processing facility! We’re excited to develop this project further throughout the season and beyond. More insights and data to come!💥 #recycling #innovation #sustainability #musicfestivals
