All of us at Aero Inspection are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Colm McLoughlin. He inspired many of us and forged a path in the Middle East that we are still following. Those of us who had the honour of knowing him will miss him greatly.

Aero Inspection was delighted to sponsor and attend the hugely successful inaugural STARS Shannon Technical Aviation Regional Society event in beautiful Dromoland last week. The event was very well attended by a broad spectrum of lessors, OEMs, regulators and service providers to the aviation industry in Ireland and a highly entertaining and informative time was had by all. Special congrats to our colleague Chidozie Ufoh for coming away with the top prize for his fast reactions. 😉

Our team took part in the Orbis Ireland Run 20/20 challenge last month to raise funds for the vital work that Orbis does around the world. These projects involved comprehensive physical inspections and technical records. The Aero Inspection Future of Aviation Scholarship has been launched. The successful applicant will receive €5,000 per annum during their time studying Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Limerick (Total value €20,000). The scholarship will support students with a passion for aviation to ensure that they have the opportunity to join our exciting industry. Students should contact their course director for application details. Restricted to SUSI and Access students.
