have regard to (something)

To be aware of something. Typically used in the context of law. I hope you have regard to the stipulations of your lease. If you choose not to hire a lawyer, then you better have regard to all of the terms of this agreement. If I'd had regard to the predatory nuances of that contract, of course I wouldn't have signed it!
