boffo

1. noun A movie or play that is very popular and successful. That movie looked so stupid in the previews, but it turned out to be a real boffo. Of course the movie was a boffo—it was full of award-winning actors. I can't believe people actually thought that movie was boffo. If you ask me, the writing was terrible, and the acting even worse!
2. adjective Wonderful or fantastic. That routine was just boffo, way to go! Oh man, this silver convertible is boffo—we're gonna look so cool when we pull up at school! This weather is just boffo, isn't it? I think I'm going to go to the botanical garden today.
