1. To have good fortune. I aced out at work today when the boss did not assign me that big project. I really aced out when I got into such a wonderful graduate school program. I have the most amazing group of professors and peers! Wow, she really aced out inheriting so much money from her grandparents!
2. To narrowly escape a bad situation. Jack hit the gas at the right moment and aced out of a car accident. Thankfully, because school was closed due to the weather, I aced out of taking the exam I hadn't studied for. Hey, how did you ace out of doing an inventory count like the rest of us?
3. To outmaneuver or outperform someone, often resulting in victory. Harry finished the game with a strike and aced out Bob in the bowling tournament. I had the lead throughout the whole race, until I was aced out by Emily at the last second. I've been training really hard this year so that I don't get aced out in the finals again.
