hole
1. slang One's mouth. Shut your hole, Tom. You're being so annoying! Wow, I can't believe you punched that bully right in the hole! A: "So, where do you think we can sell these stolen goods?" B: "Shut your hole! Don't you have enough sense not to talk about that in public?"
2. vulgar slang One's anus. I told that cop to shove the parking ticket up his hole. As you can imagine, it didn't end well for me. A: "You can take that subpoena and shove it up your hole!" B: "Whoa, OK, let's not take our anger out on the messenger."
3. slang Shabby, cramped, or undesirable living quarters. I could only afford a tiny, run-down little hole when I lived in New York City. Their house was such a hole. I couldn't wait to get out of there! This place has become such a hole since I've been sick. I just haven't had the energy or strength to clean it.
