Therefore, if they choose to distance themselves from you, it should be regarded not as a loss, but as an opportunity to gain peace and clarity. A human "lone wolf" is not necessarily lonely or antisocial, but rather someone who chooses to be independent and pursue their own path, often eschewing close relationships or group affiliations. This can be seen as a strength, representing qualities like authenticity, freedom, and self-reliance. However, it can also come with challenges, such as increased vulnerability and a lack of community support. So a “lone wolf” isn’t one who wants to be alone because they don’t like being around others. They’re a wolf who elects to be alone temporarily as they try to find a mate and find a place to have a family. They are the key to the genetic survival of the species. Not quite so scary after all, are they? Like with many things about wolves, the idea seems to come from a misunderstanding of what wolves actually do. 🇺🇸
