Fans who just can't get enough of Olivia Rodrigo and her in-progress GUTS World Tour are lining up across the country for the #GUTSWORLDTOURBUS EXPERIENCE, which is parked today (4/9) in New York's Times Square ahead of the artist's sold-out show at Madison Square Garden.
Developed by creative agency IHEARTCOMIX in tandem with Geffen, the bus is packed with Rodrigo memorabilia, stage-worn outfits from the SOUR tour and exclusive, customizable merchandise. Even the bus' toilet is decorated with stars in a nod to the album artwork for GUTS. Don't forget that courtesy flush.
With tickets for Rodrigo shows in extremely hot demand, the bus affords fans the opportunity to experience elements of the tour in a cost-free setting. Brand partners include American Express and Sony Linkbuds.
IHEARTCOMIX, which has helped produce events such as The Rolling Stones' Hackney Diamonds release concert in New York and the annual L.A. Gives Back fundraiser, dedicated an all-female production crew to take the bus from stop to stop. The endeavor is led by creative director/set dressing lead Veronica Gessa and executive producer Jess Doren, with project management from Sarah Fleisher, support from Jenny Tan and oversight from head of digital Ashley Aguirre.
The #GUTSWORLDTOURBUS EXPERIENCE will roll onward to Miami, New Orleans and Austin over the next two weeks. Meanwhile, HITS will be waiting for the regular bus to slowly transport us across town.
