Use ChatGPT, Claude, and other LLM models in live interviews with candidates
During an interview, candidates can use ChatGPT or one of our other AI models when prompted by an interviewer. Before the interview starts, ensure you've customized your default interview settings. There are three options to select from the settings:
- If On, a candidate will be able to open the ChatGPT window without needing permission.
- Alternatively, if set to Off, by default candidates cannot use ChatGPT until an interviewer enables it. Interviewers can toggle this feature on by clicking the ChatGPT icon shown in the navigation bar on the left.
- If you choose Disabled, interviewers and candidates cannot use ChatGPT in the interview.
ChatGPT window
When you click the ChatGPT/AI button on the left-hand side, a window will open on the right side of the page where you and your candidate can prompt together.
AI chat features
On the right-hand side, you're able to modify the following settings depending on your plan type:
- Change the model to OpenAI GPT-4, Claude 3.5, and others.
- Add context to your prompts, such as the current open file, the entire filetree, etc.
- Change mode: Chat and Agent mode supported currently
- Reset the chat
Agent mode
If you toggle the mode from Chat mode to Agent mode, then you are able to have an agent make edits for you in the codebase. Files are be modified and will have a small tag next to them so you know which were added or modified via AI, and then any code changes require approval from you before moving on, see example below:
