General complaints
If your complaint is about a matter of personal taste or preference it will be noted and may be sent to the relevant content division for their information. You may not receive a response beyond an acknowledgement email.
Before submitting your complaint, you may wish to see if your concern has been addressed in this Help Centre. Use the search bar at the top of this page to search for topics or return to the ABC Help home page and browse through the help sections.
Content complaints
Content complaints are complaints about a specific program or story. You will need to tell us where and when you saw or heard it, and why you feel it did not comply with the ABC’s editorial standards.
The ABC takes complaints about its editorial performance very seriously. Where appropriate these complaints are assessed by the Ombudsman's Office which is separate and independent of content making areas within the ABC. Depending on the nature of content complaints, they may be reviewed and investigated by the Ombudsman's Office or they may be responded to by a division of the ABC.
