The Harvest
A downloadable game for Windows
Deep in the woods, a nightly harvest takes place. It is your duty to ensure that the "materials" are properly handled and assembled. However, tonight feels a little...peculiar.
The Harvest is a 3D first-person game where you play as a peculiar "harvester" in an old, abandoned shack. Cut off body parts, extract bones, and assemble a one-of-a-kind body suit.

this game is so easy to break
it wasn't even because I'm a dumbass, it's just very "linear"
like, I'm guessing, since this was a gsme jam entry, that it was easier to set up points where things happen and activate instead of creating the systems that would make it up.
As an example, first run. I pick up the body and put it in the heater, skin-melter whatever the fuck. Just instinctively, I close the hot coffin. I, then, can't put it on the operating table. It's not interactive.
Next run, I'm more careful of the gaame's limitations. I spam click the tenderizer to get the body quicker. I open it and close it on accident. The operating table is waiting for the body I've just locked away forever.
I don't even remember what happened this one time, but the body was on the ground and I couldn't pick it back up.
I wasn't even doing these things on purpose; I love glitching through ceilings and destroying progression, but here, I was just trying to play.
It was interesting and strange, pretty good.

Very short and interesting one, hit some bugs/glitches but its fine.
Liked the idea so making my skin suit.
It did startle me and have some creepy vibes but it didn't get me too much, think it was because I enjoy this kind of horror.
Would totally try cooking a corpse in a tanning bed!

This game was a little buggy but I like the concept . It did give me the creeps . I am not to sure why we were doing that but I knew it wasnt a good idea lol Wish the game was longer ! Your game is third and starts at 15:44

I liked this, I really did. I just wished it was a little longer, and maybe had some story elements. AND maybe a little gore lol. That instantaneous cut up of the body was a bit too fast. Should of had the player cut off each limb and then the head by itself, Would of added an extra minute or two to the game. I was sad when it ended so quick. <3
Not a bad concept at all. Although as many people have stated before me, it is quite buggy. I believe that with some polish you and love you could have a great game on your hands !

This was such a cool horror game! Was expecting another scare or two to happen during the assembling of the final body. Other than that this was fun to play!
I played this game with a series of others as part of DreadX jam. I quite liked this experience but I do wish the body and parts we took were different from the ones on the final corpse we make, to add a bit of variance and importance to the days leading up to the "completion". It's an interesting premise!
