Miyan gyada dabino miya ce da aka yi daga itacen dabino[1][2] kuma ya zama ruwan dare a cikin jama'ar Afirka. Ya samo asali ne daga ƙabilar Urhobo a jihar Delta, Najeriya. Miyar dabino ta zama miyar nahiya.

Miyan Mbanga shine miyan 'ya'yan itacen dabino a cikin abincin Kamaru[3][4] da abincin Afirka ta Yamma.[5] Sau da yawa ana yi masa hidima da kwacoco. Miyar ita ce sigar Kamaru ta Banga ta Yammacin Afirka (miya), miyan 'ya'yan itacen dabino da ake ci a yankunan da suka haɗa da sassan Najeriya. A Kamaru ana yin mbanga ta amfani da sabbin dabino. A waje yankin ana iya amfani da goro na gwangwani.[6]

Banga wani nau'in miyan 'ya'yan itacen dabino ne daga Kudancin Neja Delta Najeriya musamman ƙabilar Itsekiri.[7] Wannan kayan abinci ya sha bamban da na "Ofe Akwu" wanda bambancin sa ne a al'adar Ibo. 'Yan Binis suna da miya daga' ya'yan itacen dabino irin na "Ofe Akwu" a cikin kayan abinci da kuma yadda ake shiri.[8][9]

A Najeriya, ana amfani da abincin don rakiyar sauran jita -jita kamar Sitaci (Usi) ga mutanen Urhobo na jihar Delta, Najeriya,[10] banku don Ghana da shinkafa ga ƙabilar Igbo.

Miyan Banga yana da ɗanɗano tare da beletete, 'ya'yan itacen aidan, rohojie, ganyen kayan ƙanshi na Banga da ake kira Obenetietien (ana iya maye gurbin kamshi ko ganye mai ɗaci), sandar oburunbebe, yankakken albasa mai ɗanɗano, kifin ƙasa, barkono barkono ko ƙafar ƙura, da gishiri.[11] Ana cin miyan wani lokacin tare da cocoyam (taro) pudding da ake kira kwacoco. Miyan Banga galibi ana shirya shi ne ta amfani da kifin kifi (sabo kifi Banga miya) busasshen/kyafaffen kifi ko nama.

Miyan kuma na iya yin abinci mai daɗi tare da ƙarin kayan lambu na Okra.[12]

Amiedi, wanda aka fi sani da miya banga, shine miyan da mutanen Urhobo na Kudancin Najeriya ke ci. Ana yin sa ne ta hanyar fitar da ruwan dabino. Bayan haka, ana ƙara wasu kayan masarufi kamar kifi, nama, kifi, barkono da balaguron saniya. Ana ci da eba ko usi (sitaci). (Elaeis guineensis) cirewa.[13]
