There is no FPWD and yet the linear easing function has been proposed for a pre-CR exception.

It would be nice (not needed for FPWD, but would help to justify the pre-CR exception) to add WPT annotations to that spec. There are 25 tests with full interop on those tests.

Thus, Agenda+ for a resolution to publish.

The CSS Working Group just discussed [css-easing-2] Time for FPWD, and agreed to the following:

  • RESOLVED: Add ChrisL and TabAtkins for easing level 2 and publish FWD
The full IRC log of that discussion <TabAtkins> definitely +1 to easing-2 FPWD
<keithamus> ChrisL: this only adds 1 new feature: multipoint linear easing function. This is already widely implemented.
<keithamus> ... proposal to add to Pre-CR exceptions. Which is awkward if its not FWD
<keithamus> ... I added WPT annotation so we can see how much is implemented. but it's in good shape
<astearns> ack fantasai
<keithamus> fantasai: should we add another editor?
<keithamus> TabAtkins: I've already been doing some edits so happy to add to my pile
<keithamus> ChrisL: I would but I've got many things, not as much as Tab
<keithamus> fantasai: maybe we add both?
<keithamus> ChrisL: fine
<keithamus> PROPOSED RESOLUTION: Add ChrisL and TabAtkins for easing level 2 and publish FWD
