in build.sbt, maybe it makes more sense to just set mimaPreviousVersion to None, now that we've moved to a 2.0 series and broken bincompat anyway?

Yeah, the MiMa part of the build is going to get unwieldy, but I'd like to have MiMa enabled to track the changes.
