Rewrote a lot of the old code. There was huge amount of duplication, weird design choices, bugs, implicit behaviour and things that were just plain wrong.
On the good news, all serialisers work now. Rolling out a beta 3.0.0 out of this tomorrow if there are no showstoppers in sight.
