Thanks @Anupam-USP for having started this one - if you look at what's been changed and try resample.interpolate then I think we can get that one in too

Hi @MarcoGorelli @simonjayhawkins,
It looks like this is only done for read_csv, but it would probably be better if this were also done for read_table too, given that they are pretty much the same function. (Also, would it possible to add this to the deprecation log (#30228) where the deprecations are tracked?)
