cannot use two wildcards in the same query #85922

Steps to Reproduce
it looks like having two wildcards in the same query doesn't work, for example:
in the pic you see that we use wildcard both in "*first" and in "*second", and the query returns empty.
if i am searching only one of the strings, it works, only the combination of "this or that" doesn't work.
can someone check it?
Expected Result
the search should support wildcards on every part of the query
Actual Result
the search does not support wildcards when there are multiple query values
